These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of UMD ("Use My Doctor"), operated by Ilaaj.ai. By accessing or using the platform you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Medical disclaimer

UMD facilitates consultations with licensed doctors and provides AI-assisted summaries. It does not itself practice medicine and the information provided is for general guidance only. It is not a substitute for an in-person examination, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider for any medical condition.

2. Not for emergencies

UMD is not designed for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

• Provide accurate and truthful information about your condition.
• Do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform.
• Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.

5. Doctors

Participating doctors are independent professionals responsible for their own opinions and advice. UMD verifies registration during onboarding but does not guarantee any particular outcome from a consultation.

6. Fees

UMD is currently offered as a free beta. We will provide notice before introducing any fees.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UMD and Ilaaj.ai are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
